- Duties
- Friendly professional family in Randwick are looking for a long term afternoon nanny to care for their three children B10, G7 and G3.
Duties include:
● After school pick up and care of the 3 children (at least 3 years of experience driving with an unrestricted licence and current unrestricted licence is required; car is provided)
● Taking children to after school activities as required (most are conducted at school)
● Prepare and serve dinner (including for the parents, sometimes to eat later)
● Prepare children’s lunch boxes for the following day
● Wash, hang up and put away the children’s clothes
● Keep the children’s playroom and kitchen tidy and clean
● Bathe the children and put them into pyjamas
● Assist with mental and physical development of children as appropriate for their age and
stage, including assisting with homework, or reading books and educational play
● Emptying dishwasher and other light housework as time permits (eg. wiping kitchen table)
● Activities with the children during some school holidays.
The core hours will be Monday - Thursday 2pm-6.30pm however can accomodate a slightly earlier start or later finish to make the hours a min of 5 hours per shift and a minimum of 20 hours and likely to be up to 25 per week. A later finish on one day per week until 10pm approx and some flexibility will be required. Also additional hours will be available on weekends and longer hours during the school holidays if the nanny is available.
No pets.
The family are looking for a start anytime from October however can wait until January 2026 for the right candidate and are seeking s long term commitment.
